THE STORY BEHIND THE CARDS
Hi, I’m Tal Shai. One of the more enchanting aspects of the Intuition Heart Cards
are the hand drawn illustrations. When I was in graduate school, I was
interviewing people about the success of their relationships. For many,
enjoying the process and fruits of their relationships was a 'Big Dream come
true'.
People
struggled to find the right words to describe what made their relationships
satisfying. They were fulfilled, but they couldn’t determine why.
One night,
feeling both anxious and excited about my project, I was just about to fall
asleep when my mind filled with the images you see on the cards. I woke from
a deeply-meditative state and started sketching the images one after the
other until the set was complete.
The result
is what you see on the cards now. I thought of having them professionally
illustrated, but time and again people tell me they like the spontaneity of
the cards—as if I had channeled the images. I too feel that the original
images, rough and childlike, hold the key to the original energy I
experienced when drawing them.
Whatever the
source, the cards made it far easier for people to go directly into what
made their relationships successful.
